Public transport by S-Bahn
Public transport by S-Bahn from the main station

From Stuttgart main station walk down the stairs to the S-Bahn (indicated by a green S).

Buy a ticket for one zone (zone 1) at the ticket machine. The ticket is also valid for travel to Stuttgart airport within 3 hours of purchase.

Take the S-Bahn S1 (towards Herrenberg), S2 or S3 (both towards Flughafen) from the station "Hauptbahnhof", "Stadtmitte" or "Feuersee" and exit at the station "Universität". Take the stairs at the platform end "Universitätszentrum" and follow the signs on the campus.

From Stuttgart airport walk down the stairs to the S-Bahn (indicated by a green S). The train stop is located directly beneath the airport.

Buy a ticket for two zones (zones 1, 2) at the ticket machine. The ticket is also valid for travel to Stuttgart downtown within 3 hours of purchase (stations "Stadtmitte" and "Hauptbahnhof").

Take the subway S2 (towards Schorndorf) or S3 (towards Backnang) and exit at the station "Universität". Take the stairs at the platform end "Universitätszentrum" and follow the signs on the campus.

Take the autobahn A831 from "Stuttgarter Kreuz" towards S-Zentrum (downtown). Take the first exit "Universität" and turn left at the first traffic lights. Then turn right at the first possibility onto "Pfaffenwaldring" street.

The civil engineering area, Pfaffenwaldring 2 and 4, is located immediately on your right side. You can enter through the main barrier and park on the premisses. For the mechanical engineering area, please follow the street for some time, passing university power plant and along the forrest, until you reach the high-rise building Pfaffenwaldring 32.
