On 15 June 2026, at its 7th Congress in Lisbon, the International Federation for Structural Concrete (fib) appointed Prof. Michael Haist as a fib Fellow. Michael Haist was one of 10 individuals to receive the award in recognition of his long-standing commitment and his outstanding contributions to the fib and to concrete structures in general.
The fib’s objective is to advance research into scientific and practical topics at an international level in order to improve concrete and concrete structures from a technical, economic, aesthetic and environmental perspective.
